I was the lead world designer for the Nurnen map redesign. Collaborating with artists and designers to ensure the world's design is exceptional, providing players with an immersive gameplay experience they will never forget. The newly designed world is a testament to my confidence and ability to deliver an engaging and immersive environment, inspiring players to explore every inch of it. From the various encounters to the ambient life, every aspect of the world was carefully crafted to leave a lasting impression on the players.
I reviewed the movement mechanics in the Nurnen map redesign to ensure they were smooth and intuitive. Nurnen is a region south of Mordor that abounds in wildlife and forests. The Spirit of Carnan also dwells in the dense forests of Nurnen. Designing movement mechanics in a natural environment was daunting and complex, but I refined the movement mechanics to a level that exceeded even my expectations through rigorous testing and iteration. Seeing players effortlessly navigate the game world, fully immersed in the experience, was incredibly rewarding.
